As for my internet, well I'm still waiting for a call to tell me I have been upgraded... I'm not expecting to receive the full 8mbps but would love not to be restricted to 512kbps as I have been, I'm just fed up as there is stuff I want to do.
I want to download some stuff from a friend and give her new venture a trial; only I feel I'm going to be so late it won't be worth it :(
The good news is that we made it to Wembley last month to watch the NFL game (American Football) of the Saints vs. the Chargers; it was a great game and lots of fun, even if it did mean a day in my chair. I would do it again and get worn out again just to watch another game; the whole event was something else.
This was the first team sporting event I have ever watched outside school lessons; I can now understand the desire to go watch a match, etc... I would love the chance to go again next year, let’s just hope we get the opportunity to do so.
You see there was over 500,000 ticket requests within 72 hours of the match being announced for a total of 83,000 seats, so we were lucky to get a seat at all.
I have also had some great news as a good friend of mine has just got engaged and I couldn't be happier for her, I'm just trying to find the perfect gift for them both (I know what I want to get, it's just finding one that is the problem) and not having a driver doesn't help.
So I haven't forgotten I'm just stuck at home a bit so it will be delayed, sorry....
I have another friend who is doing a fair bit of travelling at the mo, not that I want her home just yet, as I hope her cruise lasts as long as it can, but I can't wait to know she is home safe, she only has one more stop on her trip before sailing home (I think), I wish her plenty of sunshine and smooth seas all the way, but this time of year???
Who knows?
I think all this with hubby and the internet and not having my friend around has all got me a bit down, I know hubby is feeling a bit down with all the pain that is still there, and all he can't do, but as I said I wouldn't want my friend home early just for me, besides she will be home soon enough with tales of far off places and wonderful adventures.
Let's try and improve things from here on in!!!
Time I stopped feeling sorry for myself and pulled my finger out to get some stuff done round here, housework and paperwork don't do themselves, and having them done them will make me feel better...
