We dropped the dog off at friends for a sleepover trial run, if things go well they will be looking after him while we are away.
Mind you it seems really strange not having him here, every time I put my feet down I expect to stand on him, or when there is a knock at the door I expect him to bark at whoever it is, yet there is no fluff ball or bark.....
In one way it's quite nice but it is also sad, I do miss him yet he comes home tomorrow. I hope he behaves.....
Once we had dropped of the fluff ball we came home and did some work on the garden, and we got both the kids out with us helping, it was really nice to do something together as a family like that. Mind you once hubby stopped so did the kids which was a shame, but we did get a lot done so I don't mind really.
Then this afternoon has been a really lazy summer afternoon, it's been great.
I had a couple of times where all I wanted to do was sleep but I did as I'm supposed to and I managed to stay awake all afternoon, now I'm sitting here talking to daughter on MSN even thou she is only upstairs with her friends, I have some music on and I'm doing this entry on my laptop having done dinner and enjoyed it as well.
So now to round off a wonderful day with some evening TV, only the music is so good I'm not sure I want to turn it off!!!
What a shame I have no chocolate left from my birthday, maybe I shouldn't have eaten it so quick!!!
