I hope you all had a good day yesterday & that you are enjoying family time or maybe even lone time if that is your thing.
We each have things that we love to do on the day and as the years go past these things change or evolve from time to time.
In our case we used to always sit down together and play a family game after the festive dinner, then one year we invited my Mum & Step dad over for dinner and the game didn't happen, I'm not sure why just that it didn't.
In all honesty, I think it was more because we hadn't bought the kids a new game that year so we didn't have a new one to play.
Anyway, last night my son asked why we didn't play a family game anymore on Christmas day as he missed it. I didn't realise just how much he loved us all together playing.
Isn't it strange how the smallest of things can make or break a Christmas for you, lets just hope I can stay awake for the game next year.
